In the Beginning

Maverick Large Animal Veterinary Service was started by Dr. Ben Schultz in 2012. He took this old red barn and after a lot of hard work, turned it into a functioning large animal veterinary clinic. The work didn't stop there though! Ever since the opening of Maverick, the renovations and improvements have continued. Not only did the building and property itself continue to change and grow, but so did his staff. He started Maverick with himself and one other employee, Robin Schade. Robin worked as his technician in the beginning, slowly became his office manager and now has the title of practice administrator. As the years went on, he continued to add to the staff working up to the current employees that are now apart of the Maverick family. 

Maverick wouldn't be what it is today without the hard work and dedication of Dr. Ben; a man with a vision that wasn't scared of the challenge but excited by the new opportunity.
